If the robot is going to run while you are at home, start your
shortlist with noise levels. The Honiture V8 Pro has a recorded
noise level of 50 dB, ranking 1st out of the
19 models released in 2024 for which noise data
is known. The next closest model is the Dreame L40s Ultra, at
55 dB.
2024 launches, noise in dB (lower is better)
These figures come from the manufacturers, and not every brand
uses the same testing conditions. Still, on paper, the 5 dB
gap makes the V8 Pro the quietest model recorded for that
year.
If suction power is your top priority, the V8 Pro is not the
first model you should consider. With 5,000 Pa, it ranks
45th out of the 50 models
from 2024 for which suction data is available. The vast majority
of models recorded that year offer more suction.
2024 launches, suction power (Pa)
For those looking for both, the candidate in the 2024 lineup is
the L40s Ultra: 55 dB and 19,000 Pa. If the robot will
run while the house is empty, noise matters less, and so does the
main reason for choosing the V8 Pro.
