Before choosing a robot, measure the clearance under your
furniture. If the gap is less than 9.3 cm, Xiaomi’s
higher-end models won’t fit, making the Xiaomi E12 a strong
candidate. The E12 has a height of 8.0 cm. Released in May
2023, it ranks 3rd out of
33 models released that year for which the
height is known. Models released in 2023 with an even lower
profile include Coredy R550 Ultra and Bagotte Bg550 Pro.

Keep your expectations modest regarding suction power. The E12
offers 4,000 Pa, ranking 24th out of
30 models from 2023 with known suction
specifications. The Xiaomi S10, released a year earlier, also
features 4,000 Pa of suction and has a height of
7.9 cm. With only a 1 mm difference between them, you
can base your choice on their respective prices.
If clearance isn’t an issue and you prioritize strong
suction, look at the higher-end models in the lineup. The H50 Pro
claims 15,000 Pa, nearly four times that of the E12, with a
height of 9.3 cm. The X20+ offers 6,000 Pa and, at
9.7 cm, is one of the tallest in the series. Among the Xiaomi
models currently on the market, those with a lower profile than
the E12 include Xiaomi S10.

The decision comes down to a tape measure: if the gap is under
9.3 cm, consider the E12 or S10; if it’s larger, look
at the H50 Pro.
